IIHMR University conducts a workshop on QS Ranking and Ratings

Having emerged as a premier knowledge institution for research and teaching in the domains of public health, hospital and health administration, development studies, and pharmaceutical management, IIHMR University conducted a workshop on QS Rankings and Ratings on 17th October 2018 at the university campus. The workshop covered the importance of QS rankings and ratings, policies to be adopted by institutions to improve their quality and best practices adopted by leading institutions of the world.

IIHMR was established in 1984 with the objective of creating capabilities in improving healthcare in India and other parts of the world through management education and research. QS Rankings and Ratings are compiled annually to help prospective students identify the leading universities in a particular subject. Research citations, along with the results of major global surveys of employers and academics are used to rank universities.

“We are humbled and mark our gratefulness to the administrative staff, faculty and the organizers with the help of whom we were able to successfully conduct the workshop. We have been enablers by providing the right nurturing and an environment where guidance, resources and technology are made available seamlessly and without inhibition”, said Dr Pankaj Gupta, President, IIHMR University.

Dr. Gupta further added that the presentation and workshop on QS Rankings and Ratings has been extremely helpful for the faculties and staff of the university as they got to learn the various policies adopted by the leading intuitions of the world.

Mr. Santosh Karnananda, Head client relations, QS I-GAUGE, assured the gathering that QS Rankings and Ratings discover the world’s top universities and thus the various policies and practices should be adequately adopted by the intuitions, so that the prospective students can identify the leading universities in particular subject.
