NSE Academy, Maharishi Sikshan Sansthan announces tie-up to provide education and skill the students in around 200 schools

NSE Academy Limited (“NAL”), NALis a subsidiary of National Stock Exchange of India Limited and Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan Group (MSSG), a renowned non-profit Educational Society have announced their tie-up to provide education and skill the students in around 200 schools and management institutes in the Financial Markets segment.
The tie-up entails the introduction of joint certification programme in FMM (Financial Markets Management) in schools, and BBA/B.Com., MBA/M.Com in Financial Markets in colleges, management institutes and universities from the academic session 2018-19.
As a part of the tie-up, NSE Academy is organizing Awareness Workshops for Principals and Teachers from 40 schools of MSSG from all over 16 states in the country.
This tie-up is in alignment with Government of India’s vision of developing skillsets of young population and the Banking & Financial Services sector is one of the key focus areas for skill development. Ministry for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has been set up by GOI to focus on skill development in order to reap the benefits of demographic dividend which India enjoys due to young population.

The unique feature these courses offer is that the students can simultaneously appear for 2 separate examinations at the same time. The industry players will benefit from this course as well, as they would have job-ready professionals.

NSE Academy will train the faculties of the schools, colleges and also provide a simulated trading platform as well as an internet based mock investment, trading and portfolio management software so that students can develop essential skills for financial markets thus making them professional prepared for the job market.
