Money withdrawn from the account of Deputy Manager of PNB Bank: Cyber thugs sent the link on WhatsApp group, withdrew Rs 2.37 lakh

Jaipur, April 02, 2024.Jyoti Nagar police station of Jaipur has registered a complaint of cyber fraud with the deputy manager of PNB Bank located at Nehru Palace. Deputy Manager Mithalal Meena gave a written complaint that a message containing the link to the APK file was received on his mobile number. When he opened this link, on March 31 at 9.15 am, Rs 2 lakh 37 thousand were debited from his account. On receiving this message on his mobile, the manager immediately called 1930 and got the account seized.Jyoti Nagar police station said that on the complaint of PNB Deputy Manager Mithalal, they have registered a case of cyber crime and started investigation. The accused has taken the money into a bank account of HDFC. Information about that account is being collected.

Jaipur, April 02, 2024.ACB has arrested three people for taking bribe on the pretext of issuing no-objection certificates (NOC) for organ transplant cases, according to an official statement on Monday.Staff of SMS Hospital and middlemen involved in carrying out organ transplant were caught red-handed at the hospital while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 70,000 for issuing NOC, Ravi, Deputy Inspector General of Police (ACB) said on Monday.The accused, who issued fake NOCs in lieu of money, include an officer of Sawai Mansingh (SMS) Hospital and organ transplant coordinators at EHCC Hospital and Fortis Hospital in Jaipur, Ravi said.EHCC hospital in an official statement said that the hospital has suspended Anil Joshi while Fortis hospital said that they have terminated the ser...

MG Motor’s sales in India declines by 23% in March 2024

Jaipur, April 02, 2024.MG Motor India on Monday reported a 23 per cent dip in retail sales at 4,648 units in March as compared to the same month last year.The automaker had sold 6,051 units in March 2023.In FY 2023-24, the carmaker said IT registered around 14 per cent year on year growth in sales over FY 2022-23. It, however, did not share figures for the same.

GST collections hit Rs 1.78 lakh crore in April 2023-March 2024

GST collections in March grew 11.5 per cent to Rs 1.78 lakh crore, buoyed by domestic transactions, the finance ministry said on Monday.The gross GST collection for the last fiscal (April 2023-March 2024) stood at Rs 20.14 lakh crore, 11.7 per cent higher than the mop-up in the preceding fiscal.The average monthly gross collection for FY24 stood at Rs 1.68 lakh crore, exceeding Rs 1.5 lakh crore in the preceding fiscal.
