Greater Noida, February, 2020: Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2020, today welcomed the public to the Expo Mart as visitors came out in huge numbers on a bright sunny day with their families, for a memorable experience at the start of the weekend. The auto show today witnessed encouraging footfalls on the first family day, which became the confluence of a myriad of activities. The show opened its gates for the public from 11 AM to 8 PM today and will have the same timing tomorrow, both being the family days.
The auto show became a pit-stop for the ROAR – Rise of Asphalt Riders, a Biker Group from Delhi that flagged off a formation ride comprising of 20 high-end super bikes that rode to the Auto Expo. The ride was organized with the purpose of spreading the message of safe riding propounded by SIAM’s safe ride program. Tomorrow the oldest biker group from Delhi, GODS – Group of Delhi Super bikers will also be riding with high-end imported superbikes. The riders will flag-off from DND and ride all the way to Jewar and from there to the auto expo.
On the second day, the Cartist Zone, India’s first automobile art platform, which brings creative artists together of various genres & styles, was filled with visitors, who were delighted by the colorful display of live art and cars.
The excitement amongst the visitors was discernable as visitor from all age groups were seen congregating around the stellar line-up of vehicles displayed by the manufacturers. Maruti Suzuki, on the family day showcased the Fourth Generation Japanese model of Suzuki Jimny. At the same time, the experience zone was full of families waiting to get an experience of driving the vehicles stationed by KIA & MG Motors.
The Super Car Pavilion was an instant attraction to the visitors and generated a lot of frenzy, displaying some of the most exquisite luxury supercars in the world. These include beauties like Aston Martin Lagonda DB11 Coup, Lamborghini Aventador, Porsche 911.
There is a vintage car zone as well, which has been attracting lot of crowd at the auto show, comprising of cars some of which are restored and some timeless classics are in their original self, like the 1928 Austin 7 Boat Tail Speedster, 1934 Cadillac Model 355-D & 1950 Wolseley 6/80 Mk1, Cadillac Coupe de Ville, to name a few.
Mr. Amardeep Sinha was the winner of the vehicle winner’s contest and became the owner of a brand new Evolet Pony, an electric two wheeler. This contest is open to all the ticket holders and the lucky draws will be organised every day, throughout the duration of the Auto Expo.
