The nation is facing a huge challenge today, as we fight the COVID-19 from spreading across various states. In these trying and challenging times, Axis Bank has extended its full support to the State Government and citizens to offer them all possible banking support and services. Axis Bank has total 165 & 29 branches in the State and Jaipur city respectively. In order to provide ease and comfort to customers, approximately 97% branches are operational in the state with skeletal staff. Currently total 400 no of bank’s ATMs in the State are loaded with sufficient cash and are also being replenished from time to time. The Bank has provided hygiene kits to the team that replenishes cash in ATMs to ensure that all staff stay safe during these times.
Axis Bank has also undertaken some customer friendly measures as per guidelines issued by the State Government. It has opened 27 COVID-19 relief accounts at various centers, to help local authorities in collecting relief funds from donors. These donations will be used to provide food packets and protection equipment to the larger masses.
Axis Bank has received the prestigious mandate to collect funds on behalf of the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund – COVID 19 Mitigation Fund, through which the State will receive donations from across the world under U/S 80 G. The Bank has enabled all payment modes for this account to ensure smooth and hassle-free transactions.
Rajasthan State Cooperative Consumer Federation (RAJFED) has empaneled Axis Bank as one of the banks for making payments to farmers. Through this initiative, the Govt of Rajasthan will procure farm products like wheat, gram, mustard etc and disburse the payment through the bank’s online facilities. Around 10,000 farmers will be benefitted from this initiative and the expected throughput would be around Rs 200 crore.
The Bank has waived off charges for IMPS transactions in all bank ATM transactions (Financial and Nonfinancial) till 30th June 2020.
Axis Bank offers various digital services like services payments, fund transfers, Bill pay etc. through its Mobile App, so that customers can do banking transactions from the convenience of their home. It has also extended benefits of deferment of EMI to borrowers, as directed by RBI.
Axis Bank has donated around 121 PPE kit to Sawai Man Singh Hospital and 100 PPE kits to the district collector of Sikar district in Rajasthan.
