The BJP has launched the ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ campaign on Tuesday. Under this, special kits are being given to 32 lakh underprivileged Muslims across the country to celebrate Eid. The BJP’s Minority Front has taken responsibility for this campaign.
In this scheme, 32 thousand workers of the BJP will collaborate with 32 thousand mosques across the country to deliver these kits to those in need. The target is to help 100 people from each mosque.
The ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ kit includes clothes and food items. It contains suits for women, kurta-pajama for men, lentils, rice, vermicelli, mustard oil, sugar, clothes, dry fruits, and dates. The cost of each kit is reported to be around Rs 500 to Rs 600.
