Kota, June 19, 2022.

In yet another development, PW (PhysicsWallah), India’s most affordable and accessible ed-tech platform, has launched its first pure offline centre PW Vidyapeeth in the education hub Rajasthan, Kota. The centre is designed to assist engineering and medical aspirants, providing them a highly competitive as well as friendly learning environment with 24/7 doubt clearing facility. The student-teacher ratio of each class will be 125:1, ensuring that each aspirant gets adequate teacher attention.

On students’ demand, PW has taken this leap to open its first offline centre in Kota. Though the online classes have been very effective for learners during the pandemic, physical classroom creates a better learning atmosphere. The presence of in-person learning is all what students seek in the new normal, which could make or break their careers. The opening of this PW centre is in sync with this vision. It is perfectly designed to cater to the ever-evolving needs of today’s new-age students, enabling them to leverage the best of both worlds (offline and online). This is the first big announcement made by PW after it joined the unicorn club. More than 1000 admissions are already done.

Alakh Pandey, Founder & CEO of PW (PhysicsWallah) said, “We chose Kota for many reasons. The city holds an unbreakable track record for assisting students in cracking various competitive entrance exams. It has gained the trust of every parent and aspirant when it comes to delivering the best education from the best teachers from across India. Moreover, it has an average literacy rate of 82.80%, which is higher than the average national percentage of 74.04%, as per the census of 2011.”

“Since PW’s inception, we have strived to make education affordable and accessible for all. We will continue to focus on these two major aspects in the coming years as well. And opening a centre in Kota demonstrates our seriousness in ensuring the same. In fact, it also shows our agile nature and how we can quickly adapt to new learning pedagogies to raise the quality of education by making it fun and engaging,” he added.

Pankaj Sijairya, Kota Centre Head PW (PhysicsWallah), said, “PW has been a disruptor in the education industry with its innovative yet simple and affordable offerings. Looking at the kind of revolution we bring to the ecosystem, I am confident that this centre will provide students with a different and unique learning experience altogether.”
