A tale of love, loss, despair and hope, the Tim Roth starrer ‘The Song Of Names’ is unlike any other World War drama. There’s drama, music, mystery and a lot of soul in the impeccable adaptation of the widely read novel. And this Sunday, October 18, viewers have a chance to #LeapForth into a historic point in time with the Flix First Premiere of the soulful drama only on &flix. Airing at 1PM and 9PM, tune-in to witness a story of rivals-turned-brothers in the Indian Television Premiere on the destination for the biggest Hollywood hits.

Having premiered top-rated Hollywood hits such as ‘Bad Boys For Life’ and ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ among others, the channel brings yet another acclaimed title under its flagship Flix First Premiere property. Directed by the award-winning French-Canadian filmmaker François Girard (The Red Violin), ‘The Song Of Names’ is a musical treat to the ear with tunes by Academy Award-winning composer Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring). The film will also air on the same day as part of &PrivéHD’s Club Privé at 3PM and 11PM.

Set against the backdrop of a World War II-stricken Europe, ‘The Song Of Names’ is a movie that draws you in from the word go. Martin Simmonds (Tim Roth) has been haunted throughout his life by the mysterious disappearance of his ‘brother’ and extraordinary best friend who is also a Polish Jewish virtuoso violinist, Dovidl Rapaport (Clive Owen). After sharing a beautiful childhood filled with love and truckloads of laughter, Dovidl mysteriously vanishes shortly before the 1951 London debut concert that would have launched his brilliant career. Thirty-five years later, Martin discovers that Dovidl may still be alive, and sets out on an obsessive intercontinental search to find him and learn why he left.
