Mrs. Poonam Lalvani, Managing Trustee of Landmark International Foundation for Empowerment (LIFE) Trust, has been honored as the “ECE Influencer of the Year” at the Hall of Fame Awards 2019. The award recognizes Mrs. Lalvani’s continuous efforts in transforming early childhood education through a noteworthy spectrum of initiatives and efforts.
The Hall of Fame Awards is organized by the Early Childhood Association of India and honors path-breaking contributions by individuals in the field of early childhood education.
Mrs. Lalvani has been the driving force behind initiatives undertaken to improve the public-school education system– with the mission to make ‘School Chalo’ the mantra for every child in India. Some of Mrs. Lalvani’s key projects include introducing digital classrooms in municipal schools in Maharashtra, for teaching as well as learning.
At the helm of the organization, Mrs. Lalvani and LIFE Trust have conceptualized various innovative teaching techniques for secondary BMC school students which include Math Made Easy, English Made Easy, Effective Study Habits, Career Counseling, Parental Guidance, and others.
LIFE Trust has impacted over 1.7 million lives and continues to work closely with the government to increase the number of children enrolling into school, reduce student dropout rates, improve the quality of public education and empower youth.
