New Delhi, August 05, 2020.

Pradeep Singh, Jatin Kishore have cracked the examination with top honours to get AIR 1, 2 respectively. While hard work and dedication remain the constant – the three toppers have another two toppers have another thing in common – both of them had cracked the UPSC CSE 2018 as well and are currently working as IRS and IES, respectively. 

Pradeep Singh from Sonepat, Haryana has topped the UPSC Civil services exam 2019. Pradeep had cleared the UPSC civil services exam last year too and is presently under training as an Indian Revenue Service, IRS Officer in Faridabad, Haryana. Pradeep’s father, Sukhbir Singh who is the former Sarpanch of Tewari village in Sonepat’s Ganaur block inspired him to become an officer. This was Pradeep’s 4th attempt. 

It has been a journey of hard work and resilience. Pradeep Singh had secured 260th rank in 2018 but did not give up. His constant strive to improve himself helped him crack the first position. Jatin Kishore, too is an IES Officer from 2018 batch. 

This year a total of 829 candidates have been selected for various posts of IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS, etc. The final results are released on the basis of the preliminary exam followed by the main exam and interview. The preliminary exam was conducted in September 2019, main exam and interview were conducted between February to August 2020. As per the pattern analysis, the mark sheet of the appeared candidates would be released by the Commission after 15 days from the date of declaration of the result.
