PUBG MOBILE’s most anticipated tournaments of the year, PMIS 2020 came to a power-packed end yesterday. The tournament reflects PUBG MOBILE’s commitment to create and nurture supreme talent and skill in the ecosystem of e-sports, pinning a place for our Indian gamers on the world map. PMIS 2020 has witnessed a display of unmatched temperament, strategy and techniques where in each of the 16 teams that qualified put forth a remarkable feat of excellence with top performances across the various teams.
At the end of Day 2, TSM-Entity were thetop drawers of the tournament by registering 177 points, three chicken dinners and a total of 77 kills, after a narrow finish with Fnatic at the end. Fnatic registered a total of 150 points, while third spot went to Team Mayhem with 144 points in the overall tally. Fourth and fifth place was taken by UMumba Esports and VST-VXT esports respectively making their way to the top 5 of the tournament.
The gameplay showcased by all 16 teams was phenomenal and the intensity was high. While Team TSM-Entity reigned as table-topper’s from Day 1, they took a massive leap of over 70 points on Day 2. While Team Fnatic and Team Mayhem ended Day 1 neck to neck with just a difference of 1 point, Team Fnatic displayed some supreme skill and resilience taking the 1 point difference to a 6 point difference on the final day of the grand finals. UMamba Esports was a team nowhere to be found in the top 5 on Day 1, with a mere 41 points against their name, down at 10th position. However on Day 2 UMamba Esports brought in nothing short of their A-game, climbing the charts to 4th position with a total of 115 points
The total prize pool of INR 50,00,000 was broken down in the following manner. Team TSM-Entity took the title along with INR 20,00,000 while the runners up, Team Fnatic won a massive INR 20,00,000. Team Mayhem that claimed third place took home another INR 3,00,000. The rest of the teams that participated in the grand finale were also allotted cash prizes.
