ROCF in Collaboration with Sri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM) Launches ‘Breathe Safe’ Campaign in support of Frontline COVID-19 Warriors in Rajasthan

 Ripples of Change Foundation (ROCF), a non-profit organization, has rolled out the ‘Breathe Safe’ campaign to highlight the importance of the continued safety precautions to be taken to contain/reduce the spread of COVID-19 infections. The initiative is specially designed for the protection of frontline warriors across healthcare, emergency responders, and personnel in the government organizations such as Police forces, ASHA workers, ANMs Anganwadi Workers, Health Assistants, Personnel in Municipal corporations, sanitation workers, and other pre-identified beneficiaries.

In Jaipur, overall 7000 masks were handed over to the Police Commissioner, Mr. Anand Srivastava and Senior BJP leader Shri Gajendra Singh Khimsar. These masks are handed over to Superintendent of Police – Nagaur for distribution to the Police force and other frontline health workers.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Arvind Misra, Sri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM) said, Extensive Covid-19 relief works have been carried since April 2020 by way of providing infrastructure, capacity building, safety equipment, essential supplies, training and awareness programs. The ‘Breathe Safe’ campaign is specifically designed to support the frontline COVID-19 warriors who have helped communities to fight the pandemic. It aims to reach out to the last mile.”

ROCF’s Breathe-Safe Campaign has been supported by United Way, Bengaluru, ACT Grants, Sri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM), Sattva Consulting and Arvind Mills.

Shri Gajendra Singh Khimsar, Senior BJP Leader said, “COVID 19 frontline workers have played a very important role in helping us all to remain safe and continue our daily life as seamlessly as possible. ROCF and SRCM are doing a great service by undertaking these initiatives to distribute N 95 masks to the Police forces and Anganwadi workers to help control the spread of the infection.”   

As a part of the country’s largest N-95 mask donation campaign, 6 lakhs N-95 masks will be distributed across 14 states (38 locations) Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities in the country with active involvement of the local authorities along with ROCF teams potentially leading to safeguarding millions from getting infected.

Since April 2020, Ripples of Change Foundation in collaboration with various partner organisations has been conducting COVID-19 relief campaigns across the country including infrastructure, medical equipments and PPEs; food supplies for migrant workers; strong immunity for health community campaign; community sensitisation programs for institutions and communities; essential supplies for old age shelter homes; making corona warriors smile are amongst others.
