Signify wins the prestigious ‘National Energy Conservation Award 2020’

Signify, the world leader in lighting,has won the prestigious National Energy Conservation Award 2020for its Philips Eye Pro 9W LED Bulb at a virtual award ceremony hosted by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency in India. The awards are presented by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), part of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, to honorindustries and establishments that have taken special efforts to reduce energy consumption while maintaining their production.

The company won the awardin the ‘Most Energy Efficient Appliance of the Year- LED Bulb’category for its best-selling Philips Eye Pro 9W LED Bulb that saves up to 90% energy compared to a traditional bulb and lasts up to 10 times longer. The bulb has a 50% wider light spread compared to other LED bulbs and featuresthe company’s patented Interlaced Optics technology to enhance eye comfort. The bulb exceedsthe mandated industry standards such as ROHS compliance, fire-retardant material and high voltage and surge protection.
