Sini Shetty from Karnataka Wins the title of Miss India 2022
21 year old Sini Shetty from Karnataka has won the title of Miss India 2022 at the 58th edition of Femina Miss India. She was announced as the Winner at the Grand Finale event of VLCC Femina Miss India 2022, that took place on 03 July at the Jio Convention Center in Mumbai. Along with Sini Shetty, Rubal Shekhawat of Rajasthan was announced the first Runner up and Shinata Chauhan representing Uttar Pradesh was the second runner up.
Manasa Varanasi, the winner of Miss India 2021 from Telangana, crowned Miss India 2022 Sini Shetty. Sini Shetty, Rubal Shekhawat, Shinata Chauhan, Pragya Ayyagari and Gargi Nandi were in the top 5.
Bollywood actors Neha Dhupia, Dino Morea and Malaika Arora, designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, choreographer Shiamak Davar, and former cricketer Mithali Raj were part of the jury panel for the evening. Maniesh Paul hosted the star-studded evening.
The pageant had launched a nationwide hunt to find prospective talents from all corners of the country through virtual auditions.
Born in Mumbai, Shetty holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and at present she is pursuing a professional course – Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
