Jaipur, June 13, 2025.India’s retail inflation eased to a six-year low of 2.82% in May, with food inflation declining to 0.99%, lowest since October 202. The current inflation figures are within the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) comfort range.CPI inflation softened in both the rural and urban segments at 2.59% and 3.07%, respectively, in May 2025, compared to 2.92% and 3.36%, respectively in April 2025.Retail inflation is measured using the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which tracks the prices of everyday goods and services.
