Raj sees relief from cold wave, temp up by 4°C

After a prolonged spell of cold wave conditions, there was a respite from shivering cold.
A rise of almost 4° Celsius in the day temperatures was witnessed. Vanasthali remained the coldest in the state, where a minimum temperature of 5.8°C was recorded, the Met reports stated.
Attributing the climatic conditions to the active northerly winds and the vanishing of western disturbances, the Met office said, in the coming days, bright sunny days would be witnessed.
People in Jaipur woke up to a comparatively warmer morning with a minimum temperature of 8.8°C, followed by a bright sunny afternoon with a maximum temperature of 26.8°C, almost 5°C above the normal notch.
