Tourist bookings hit by terror fear:Kashmir-bound tourists cancel or delay trips after Pahalgam attack
New Delhi, April 25,2025Following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, tourists across India have become hesitant to travel to Kashmir. In Jaipur, around 400 tourists who had planned trips to the region have either cancelled their bookings or postponed them.Tour operators from Jaipur reported that nearly 280 hotel room bookings scheduled till May 30 have already been cancelled. Usually, about 500 rooms are booked by tourists from Jaipur and nearby areas during the peak months of May and June.Last year, around 480 room bookings to Kashmir were made through online platforms by people from Jaipur alone.
