Tata Power Delhi Distribution has been promoting and encouraging its consumers to opt for sustainable alternatives as a part of its energy conservation initiative. The company organized a camp at Lal Bagh area of Model Town, providing LED bulbs at attractive rates to lighten up the lives of the residents of JJ clusters.
11 such camps have been organised till date to provide the LED bulbs and sensitize the residents about the significance of energy conservation and the various ways in which they can reduce the consumption in order to reduce their electricity bills. The company has distributed more than 2000 LED bulbs in replacement to Yellow (Incandescent) Bulbs at various locations of its operational area. LED bulbs can reduce energy consumption by 88% when compared to an incandescent (Yellow) bulb.
Tata Power DDL, in order to execute its vision of promoting energy conservation at the grass-root level has also encouraging the ABHA Members (Brand Ambassadors of the company in JJ Clusters) to contribute in the initiative and aware the residents of JJ clusters about the offer as well as the various steps they can undertake to save electricity.

Through these camps, we are encouraging our consumers to opt for efficient lighting and become energy champions.”
