New Delhi, July, 2019. Tata Power Delhi Distribution has been ranked 4th in ‘India’s Best Company to Work For 2019’ survey by the Great Places to Work Institute. The award bears testimony to company’s commitment to enhance professional growth of its employees by setting new standards in the company’s work culture. It also highlights Tata Power-DDL’s efforts towards employee-friendly human resource policies and high engagement initiatives to enhance productivity and cultivate a harmonious and caring work environment where each employee creates an impact.

The company has witnessed a significant jump in the rankings, from 37th position in 2017, it has climbed up to the 4th spot in the best place to work survey2019. It has also been recognised among the best workplaces in the energy, oil and gas industry along with NTPC, Indian Oil and FEDCO.

The institute has an objective methodology of assessing workplace culture globally through its two lenses to evaluate and identify the best. The first lens measures the quality of employee experience through the globally validated survey instrument known as Trust Index. The second lens is called the Culture Audit, a proprietary tool of the institute that evaluates the people practices of an organisation, covering the entire employee life-cycle.
