Hanuman Janmotsav was seen in full swing on Tuesday in the five-day Hanuman Mahotsav, which started from April 20, at Shri Khole’s Hanuman Temple located in Laxman Dungri in Jaipur. On the day of Hanuman Janmotsav, special decoration of the Lord was done in the Hanuman temple of Shri Khole. A tableau of fifty-six offerings was decorated to the Lord. Hanumanji was made to wear a silver crown.
Special events have been organized in the temple on the occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav. For the last three days, singers wooed Hanumanji Maharaj with hymns. Today, Hanumanji was anointed with Panchamrit, 108 medicinal liquids and water from various places of pilgrimage along with chanting of mantras. After that vermilion robe was offered. Shodashopachar puja and special adornment was done. Hanumanji Maharaj was offered Rajbhog. The tableau of Hanumanji’s Chhappan Bhog has been decorated.
He told that till Tuesday evening about 1.25 lakh devotees have had darshan of Hanuman ji. Devotees from different areas of Jaipur had reached the Hanuman temple of Khole on flag marches. On Tuesday, a special festive aarti was organized at 12 noon and havan was organized from 2 pm to 5 pm. Bhajan singing performance has been given by Ganesh Mandal at 6 pm. The five-day program will conclude with the presentation of bhajans by young artists on April 24 from 7 to 10 pm.
