Critics Choice Awards 2025- Diljit Dosanjh bags Best Actor award

The Film Critics Guild just announced the most awaited awards for 2025. This year, they added something new – a prize for the documentaries.

A film called “Nocturnes” won the first-ever Best Documentary award for its bet story-telling.

“All We Imagine As Light” won the top prize for Best Film

For regular movies, “All We Imagine As Light” won the top prize for Best Film in the feature film segment. Notably, this film had also won the Grand Prix (Jury Prize) at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, making it the first Indian film in over 30 years to compete in the main competition and win this prestigious award.

Diljit Dosanjh bagged the Best Actor award

Diljit Dosanjh got the Best Actor award for playing Amar Singh Chamkila. When he got his award, Diljit was really happy and thankful. He said “Thank you to the Film Critics Guild for this award, bohot bohot shukriya for considering me worthy of this honour.

The web series awards were also really exciting! “Poacher” did really well, winning Best Web Series. Nimisha Sajayan, who acted in “Poacher,” won Best Actress for web series. Barun Sobti won Best Actor for his role in “Raat Jawaan Hai.

Ravi Kishan won Best Supporting Actor for “Laapataa Ladies”

For supporting roles, Ravi Kishan won Best Supporting Actor for his work in “Laapataa Ladies,” while Kani Kusruti got Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Girls Will Be Girls.”

This year’s awards showed how many great films and shows are being made, with lots of talented actors and filmmakers getting recognition for their hard work
