Seventeen lakh children between three and six years of age will be given milk at 62,000 anganwadi centres in the state from this month.
Officials said that by Wednesday, the distribution of milk powder was completed in 50% of the anganwadi centres across the state. The women and child development department has given an order to Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation (RCDF) to supply 743.5 metric tonnes of milk every three months for all anganwadi centres in the state.
