The two-day Jaigarh Heritage Festival 2024, held at the Jaigarh Fort, concluded on Sunday. The second day of the festival began with a Taus recital by Sandeep Singh and Avirbhav Verma. Renowned folk singer Malini Awasthi presented traditional Indian folk tunes. Nathoolal Solanki’s Nagada performance and the Jaisalmer Boys’ presentation showcased the diversity of Rajasthan’s music and dance.
Several discussions were held throughout the day, covering topics such as Indian temple sculpture, Sufi traditions, etc. These discussions provided deep insights into the architectural marvels of Indian temples, Sufi music, and the contribution of women in Sufism.
Workshops on Khartal, Kathak dance, and traditional crafts provided a unique opportunity for the audience to connect with Rajasthan’s rich culture.
