New Delhi, May 01, 2024.TVS Motor Company on Wednesday said its total sales increased 25 per cent year-on-year to 3,83,615 units in April 2024 as compared with the same month last year.The company had dispatched 3,06,224 units to its dealers in the same month last year, TVS Motor Company said in a statement.Total two-wheeler sales last month stood at 3,74,592 units as against 2,94,786 units recorded in April 2023.

New Delhi, May 01, 2024.Greaves Electric Mobility has launched the Ampere Nexus for a starting price of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in two variants - ST and EX. The top-end ST variant is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric scooter manufacturer has stated that these are introductory prices. Ampere’s new electric scooter is designed and made in India. It is claimed to have already been tested for over 1 lakh kilometres. In fact, it already holds a place in the India Book of Records for completing a Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K) ride. New Delhi, April 26, 2024.The world's largest tractor manufacturer by volume, Mahindra Tractors, has achieved the cumulative sales milestone of 40 lakh units, including domestic sales and exports.The milestone unit model, a Yuvo Tech Plus, was rolled out from Mahindra's Zaheerabad plant, which is the company's youngest tractor facility and a global production hub for Mahindra tractors.Mahindra launched its maiden tractor in 1963 in partnership with the USA-based International Harvester. The Indian company surpassed 10 lakh tractor sales in 2004, 20 lakh in 2013, 30 lakh in 2019 and 40 lakh in 2024. Jaipur, April 22, 2024.The market of electric cars in the country will change completely in two years, because the prices of both battery and chip have started falling. The cost of one kilowatt power (kWh) battery was $130 (₹10,850) in 2021, which has come down to $100 (₹8,350) in 2023.Currently, there are EVs in the market with batteries ranging from 17 to 108 kWh. 70% of the cost of an EV is the battery. According to this, the price of EV worth Rs 10 lakh will be Rs 8.60 lakh. Second, manufacturing of semiconductor chips in the country will further reduce the cost by 10%.
