SBI raises Rs 10,000 crore through long-term infrastructure bonds

New Delhi, July 11, 2024.State Bank of India (SBI) on Wednesday said it has raised Rs 10,000 crore through its sixth infrastructure bond issuance, offering a coupon of 7.36 per cent.The issue received bids in excess of Rs 18,145 crore and was oversubscribed by around 3.6 times against the base issue size of Rs 5,000 crore, the bank said.The total number of bids received was 120 from investors across segments, including provident funds, pension funds, insurance companies, mutual funds and corporates.The proceeds of bonds, having maturity of 15 years, will be utilized in enhancing long-term resources for funding infrastructure and affordable housing segments, the lender said.“This issuance will help in developing a long-term bond curve and encourage other banks to issue b...

Mumbai, July 08, 2024.The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in Q1 FY25, including Jaguar Land Rover**were at 3,29,847 nos., higher by 2%, as compared to Q1 FY24.Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q1 FY25 were at 93,410 nos., higher by 6%, over Q1 FY24. Global wholesales of Tata Motorspassenger vehicles* in Q1 FY25 were at 138,682nos., lower by 1% as compared to Q1 FY24. Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover** were 97,755 vehicles, higher by 5%.Jaguar whole sales for the quarter were 8,227 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the quarter were 89,528 vehicles.

New Delhi, July 08, 2024.GE Power India Ltd on Monday said it has secured an order from state-owned NTPC to supply main turbine spares.In a regulatory filing, the company said it will supply main turbine spares at power giant major NTPC Talcher in Odisha.The order shall be executed over a period of 9.5 months, it said, adding that the "base value (of the order is) Rs 18.71 million with additional 18 per cent GST)," the filing said.
