Navratri is not only a time to worship the nine incarnations of Goddess Durga but also an opportunity to focus on a healthy diet. However, many resort to vrat chips and some potatoes to beat hunger. Some also rely on fried foods.
High-protein vrat-friendly foods for Navratri

A high-carb diet during Chaitra Navratri fasting can cause low energy and drowsiness. Relying too much on foods like potatoes, sweet potatoes, sabudana, and kuttu can lead to energy crashes, drowsiness, and cravings

Relying too much on tea during Chaitra Navratri fasting can disturb your digestion. The nutritionist recommends no more than two cups a day during the fasting period.
