Half-yearly examinations of students will start from Monday across the state including the capital. Half-yearly examinations will be conducted like the main examinations of the board. Candidates of board classes will be asked 100% questions from the syllabus. Whereas candidates of class 9th and 11th will have to study 70% of the syllabus. Half yearly examination is important for the candidates of board classes.
A total of 20% marks of class test including half yearly examination will be added to the annual examination as session marks. Under the half-yearly examination, there will be an English subject paper for all classes on the first day on Monday. The first shift will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm and the second shift will be held from 1.15 pm to 4.30 pm. All the exams of class 10th will be held in the first shift and all the papers of class 9th will be held in the second shift.
