Jeep Wrangler facelift launched in India, priced from Rs 67.65 lakh

New Delhi, April 26, 2024.

Jeep has finally launched the updated Wrangler in India. It comes in two variants; Unlimited and Rubicon, priced at Rs 67.65 lakh and Rs 71.65 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Jeep claims to have already received over 100 pre-bookings. Deliveries of the 2024 Wrangler are slated to begin by the middle of May this year. There have been a number of subtle updates and changes to the latest iteration of the Wrangler in India. As far as price is concerned, both variants of the Wrangler facelift are now Rs 5 lakh more expensive than the outgoing model.

On the outside, the most noticeable change to the Unlimited variant is the blacked-out front grille and 18-inch alloy wheels. The Rubicon also gets an all-black front grille but sports new 17-inch alloy wheels. Jeep also claims that the new front wind shield is made of Gorilla Glass. Both the Unlimted and Rubicon are available in five colour options – Firecracker Red, Sarge Green, Bright White, Black and Granite Crystal. Out of these, Sarge Green wasn’t available in the Unlimited variant earlier. The 2024 Wrangler is still powered by the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, petrol motor which churns out 266bhp and 400Nm of torque. It’s still mated to the 8-speed automatic gearbox.

On the inside, the updated Wrangler gets a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which comes loaded with Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 operating system. The dashboard design has been updated accordingly; for example, sleeker air vents. Apart from this, the American automaker has also added 12-way powered front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as six airbags. Previously, the Wrangler only came with four airbags. Other safety features include the ADAS, electronic stability control, electronic roll mitigation and more
