Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal released party’s manifesto comprising of 15 guarantees for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections.
1- Aim to reach 100 per cent employment in the national capital and fix unemployement.
2- ₹2,100 per month for women in the ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’
3- Free health treatment in government and private hospitals for senior citizens in Sanjeevani Yojna.
4- Waive off wrong inflated water bills
5- 24×7 clean drinking water.
6-Clean Yamuna
7- Repair Delhi Roads on the lines of European standards.
8- Dr Ambedkar Scholarship Yojana for Dalit students.
9 – Free bus travel and 50 per cent concession in Delhi Metro for college and school students
10 – ₹18,000 for Hindu and Sikh priests.
11- Free electricity and water for tenants.
12- Repairing sewer lines within 15 days of new government. All blocked sewage lines to be replaced
13 – Ration card for citizens
14 – Scheme for autorickshaw and e rickshaw drivers with ₹ 1 lakh financial aid for their daughter’s marriage, free coaching for children, ₹10 lakh life insurance and 5 lakh health insurance.
15 – Money to Residents Welfare Associations (RWAs) for private security.
The guarantees listed by Kejriwal include mostly promises made by him in his earlier announcements. The Delhi’s ruling party has promised jobs, ₹2,100 cash scheme for women, Sanjeevani Yojana for senior citizens, ₹18,000 for Hindu and Sikh priests, waiving off incorrect water bills, if it comes back to power in Delhi, among others.
“The people of Delhi will save upto ₹25,000 every month with the schemes of Aam Aadmi Party. But if you press the wrong button (BJP) then this ₹25,000 per month will be the additional cost that you will have to bear,” Kejriwal said.
