Passengers and tourists traveling by metro in Jaipur’s walled city and outer areas will now have to pay more. Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Limited has decided to increase Jaipur Metro fares from Jan 31. After this, passengers traveling from 2 to 10 stations will have to pay Rs 4 to 8 more in fare. However, during this period, passengers using smart cards will get up to 10% discount on fares.
Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Limited has issued a new fare list on Thursday. After this, now passengers will have to pay a fare of 10 rupees to travel up to two metro stations in Jaipur. Similarly, a fare of Rs 15 will have to be paid for traveling from 3 to 5 stations.
Fare of Rs 25
A fare of 25 rupees will have to be paid for traveling from 6 to 8 stations, while a fare of 30 rupees per passenger will have to be paid for traveling from 9 to 10 stations.
Earlier, passengers had to pay Rs 6 for traveling one to two stations, Rs 12 for traveling 3 to 5 stations, Rs 18 for traveling 6 to 8 stations, and Rs 22 per passenger for traveling 9 to 10 stations. The Metro has now revised the old rates and issued new rates. The new rates will be implemented after midnight on Thursday.
