Jyoti Nagar police station of Jaipur has registered a complaint of cyber fraud with the deputy manager of PNB Bank located at Nehru Palace. Deputy Manager Mithalal Meena gave a written complaint that a message containing the link to the APK file was received on his mobile number. When he opened this link, on March 31 at 9.15 am, Rs 2 lakh 37 thousand were debited from his account. On receiving this message on his mobile, the manager immediately called 1930 and got the account seized.
Jyoti Nagar police station said that on the complaint of PNB Deputy Manager Mithalal, they have registered a case of cyber crime and started investigation. The accused has taken the money into a bank account of HDFC. Information about that account is being collected.
