Now visa free entry in Kenya; Electronic authorization compulsory

Visitors from around the world will not need a visa to visit Kenya from January 2024. Now you can go there with electronic travel authorization. Kenyan President William Ruto made this announcement on 12 December. This has been done to boost the tourism industry.

Speaking at an event in Nairobi on the completion of 60 years of Kenya’s independence, President Ruto said – ‘Electronic Travel Authorization will end the tedious visa process.’ Earlier, countries like Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand had announced visa free entry for Indians.

Kenya is popular for its diverse landscape and vibrant culture. Travelers come here to have the thrilling experience of wild life safaris. Its economy is heavily dependent on tourism. With the end of visa requirement, more travelers are expected to come here.
