Jaipur, July 2023.The third edition of Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart was jointly organized by the Department of Tourism and the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism in Rajasthan (FHTR) is a magnificent step to support the growth our tourism and Hospitality sector post-pandemic. The event was held in Jaipur, from July 14 to 16.The year 2022 witnessed around 10.87 crore tourists in Rajasthan as compared to 2.20 crore in 2021. This massive increase in inbound tourism is a great win for the tourism and hospitality sector in Rajasthan. REC extends ₹ 4,785 Crore for HPCL Rajasthan Refinery’s project in Barmer

New Delhi, July 05, 2023.REC Limited has extended a loan of ₹ 4,785 crores to HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL), for setting up a green field refinery cum petrochemical complex in Barmer district, Rajasthan. The loan has been extended as part of a consortium arrangement for ₹ 48,625 crores, wherein the share of REC Limited is ₹ 4,785 crores. The refinery cum complex will have a capacity of 9 Million Metric Tonnes per Annum (MMTA), and would entail a total project cost of ₹ 72,937 crores.HRRL is a Joint Venture company of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and the Government of Rajasthan, incorporated on 18th September 2013. New Delhi, July 05, 2023.Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 11 NH projects worth Rs 5600 Crore in Pratapgarh, Rajasthan.Four national highway projects with a total length of 219 km and costing Rs 3,775 crore were inaugurated today in Rajasthan. This 6-laning project from Kishangarh to Gulbapura section on National Highway 48 will accelerate the economic and social development of Ajmer and Bhilwara districts. The 6-laning of Gulabpura to Chittorgarh section will strengthen the mutual connectivity of Udaipur, Jaipur and Kota regions of Bhilwara and Chittorgarh districts.
