India’s budget airline, SpiceJet, posted a consolidated net profit of ₹25 crore in the third quarter of FY25, recovering from a ₹301 crore loss in the same period last year.
Revenue Decline & Quarterly Growth
- SpiceJet’s operational revenue fell 35.35% YoY to ₹1,231 crore in Q3, compared to ₹1,904 crore in Q3 FY24.
- However, revenue increased 35.12% QoQ from ₹911 crore in Q2 FY25.
“Total revenue surged by 35% to ₹1,651 crore, driven by strong passenger demand, improved yields and enhanced operational efficiency. Passenger Load Factor (PLF) stood at an impressive 87%,” the airline said in a release.
