Kolkata, December 01, 2024. Air India Express on Sunday launched daily flights from Kolkata to Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair) as a part of its network expansion in the region. The inaugural Kolkata-Sri Vijaya Puram flight took off at 5.40 am, offering travellers a well-timed direct flight to the scenic Andaman Islands, the airline said in a statement. Starting December 15, the airline will introduce an additional daily flight on this route, offering twice-daily connectivity between the city of joy and the tropical paradise, it said.

New Delhi, November 28, 2024. Air India Express announced on Wednesday that it will launch direct flights between Pune and Bangkok starting December 20. AIX will offer three weekly flights between Pune and the Thai capital, with fares starting at Rs 6,500 for Xpress Lite and Rs 7,000 for Xpress Value. As per the official press release, the Pune-Bangkok flight departs at 8.40 am and arrives at 2.30 pm, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The return flight from Bangkok to Pune departs at 3.35 pm and arrives at 6.25 pm on the same days.
