Centre allots 1,154 cr for 27 roads, 30cr for rly bridge in state

A day after deputy chief minister Diya Kumari held a meeting with the Union minister of MoRTH, Nitin Gadkari, the Centre on Friday sanctioned Rs 1,154 crore for the development of 27 roads in the state and another Rs 30 crore for the construction of a railway under-bridge in Sriganganagar. The fund was allotted from the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF).
"This is an important gift and a big step towards accelerating the infrastructure and development of the state. The construction of these roads will benefit many areas of Rajasthan. This will not only facilitate transportation but will also boost trade, tourism, and agriculture sectors," said Kumari, who is also the state PWD minister.
