Galtaji Phagotsav features colourful cultural spectacle
Jaipur, March 11, 2025.Residents of Pink City witnessed the vibrant Braj Ki Holi, Monday, as the Rajasthan govt hosted Galtaji Phagotsav for the first time, featuring Phoolon Ki Holi—a floral celebration inspired by Braj's traditions. "We have heard about Phoolon Ki Holi, traditionally played in Uttar Pradesh's Braj region on the third day before Holi. This year, we had the opportunity to witness this unique festival right here in Jaipur," said Anand Sharma, who visited Galtaji Temple for the event.For the first time, the festivities featured Chang-Dhamal performances by artists from the Shekhawati region, along with a grand aarti and rangoli displays.
