Scottie Scheffler showed no signs of having been away from golf since the Ryder Cup, but Tiger Woods showed better touch in the second round of the Hero World Challenge. Woods improved upon his first round 73 with a 2-under 70 and is now 1-over for 36 holes. He is 10 behind co-leaders Scheffler (69-68) and Jordan Spieth (68-67). The two were co-leaders after the first day. Playing for the first time in almost eight months since the end of the second round of the Augusta National, Woods admitted to ‘soreness’ all over after his 3-over 75. ALBANY, November 30, 2023. Tiger Woods teed off in his first semi-competitive round at the Pro-Am ahead of the 2023 Hero World Challenge at Albany in the Bahamas. The field of 20  elite stars includes World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who wants to end his run of two successive second places behind the Norwegian star, Viktor Hovland, who bids to become the first player to win the Hero World Challenge three times in a row.
