Jaipur ISIEM declaration signed to support the Newborn Screening in the country

ISIEM 2024 conference was organised at Jaipur from 22nd -24th September 2024 at Rajasthan international Convention centre with the theme of IEM- Ushering in the Therapeutic Era.
As a part of the pre-conference deliberations, the President ISIEM Dr Seema Kapoor emphasised the role of prevention and early diagnosis of these disorders- wherein newborn screening plays a significant role.
In a preconference meeting, where representatives from 5 states, vis- Delhi, Kerala, Goa, MP and UP were present, ISIEM was privileged to inculcate the pledge for promotion recommendation of NBS as a public health measure.
