Raj govt raises marriage aid to Rs 75,000
Jaipur, February 27, 2025.The state govt Wednesday increased the marriage assistance amount under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Market Labour Welfare Scheme to Rs 75,000 per wedding.With chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma approving this enhancement, licenced labourers can now avail Rs 75,000 as marriage assistance for two daughters, marking an increase of Rs 25,000 from the previous amount.This approval is part of the budget announcement for 2025-26.In addition, the chief minister issued administrative and financial approval for more than Rs 8.47 crore for electrical, repair, and new construction works at the Hanumangarh town Agricultural Produce Market Committee's market yard.With this decision by Sharma, construction of covering sheds to protect agricultural commodities fro...
