Nifty hits fresh record peak; Sensex climbs over 300 points

New Delhi, June 21, 2024. Benchmark equity indices rallied in early trade on Friday, with the NSE Nifty hitting a fresh all-time peak, helped by buying in IT stocks and continuous foreign fund inflows. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 329.52 points to 77,808.45 in early trade. The Nifty went up by 100.1 points to hit a record peak of 23,667.10.

New Delhi, December 07, 2023. Benchmarks Sensex and Nifty snapped their seven-day run in early trade on Thursday amid selling pressure from foreign institutional investors and tracking cues from Asian markets. Analysts said, receding crude oil prices in international markets failed to boost sentiment as investors turned to book profit ahead of RBI's monetary policy decision. The 30-share BSE Sensex fell 211.21 points, or 0.30 per cent, to 69,442.52. The broader index Nifty also declined 58.95 points, or 0.28 per cent to 20,878.75.

Nifty hits life-time high, Sensex jumps 493 points on favourable macro data

Mumbai, December 01, 2023. Key equity index Nifty hit its lifetime high while Sensex jumped 493 points to close at an 11-week high driven by favourable macroeconomic data and continuous foreign fund inflows. The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 492.75 points or 0.74 per cent to settle at 67,481.19, the highest closing level since September 18. During the day, it surged 575.89 points or 0.85 per cent to 67,564.33. The Nifty climbed 134.75 points or 0.67 per cent to settle at an all-time high of 20,267.90. During the day, the benchmark touched its intra-day record high of 20,291.55, up 158.4 points or 0.78 per cent.
