Jaipur, January 2024. Ola Electric's new EV manufacturing unit under construction in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu will provide employment to about 25,000 people after running on full scale. Company's co-founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal gave this information at the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet. Bhavish said, 'Apart from manufacturing capacity, this EV hub spread over 2000 acres will also have vendor and supplier network. Together we will make Tamil Nadu and India the global epicenter of EV.
