New Delhi, October, 2023. Optum team members volunteered at multiple NGOs across Delhi NCR to connect with local communities and to help make a positive difference. This was part of the annual Geographically Inclusive Volunteer Event (G.I.V.E.) at Optum, taking place between October 3-15, 2023. Hyderabad, August 2023. More than 1005 Optum employees ran in the Hyderabad Marathon on Sunday, August 27, 2023. The Optum team comprised 841 men and 164 women runners, who took part in the forty-two kilometres full marathon, the twenty-one kilometres half marathon, as well as the ten and five-kilometre races. Every year, to prepare for this event, LiveWell, the holistic employee well-being program at Optum, encourages and supports employees in their fitness journeys, providing trusted expert guidance on nutrition, fitness, and coaching.
