Yet, over 1.8 billion people worldwide still lack access to safe drinking water, and nearly 40% of India’s population—including an estimated 163 million people without basic drinking water services—grapples with severe water stress, underscoring the urgent need for innovation in Water management, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH).
