2.7L more houses to be built in Raj under PMAY-Gramin
Jaipur, May 06, 2025.CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Monday announced that the Union ministry of rural development has approved construction of another 2,73,752 houses in Rajasthan under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G). The CM stated that the newly sanctioned houses will benefit families identified in the 2018 Awas Plus survey, many of whom waited for permanent housing for over six years."This is a significant moment. Families that awaited homes since 2018 will finally see their dream of owning a pucca house come true," said Sharma.Of the 22.23 lakh homes previously sanctioned to the state, nearly 20 lakh have already been built.
