He said that after completing films like 'Haiwaan' and 'Hera Pheri 3', he will retire from the film industry.In conversation with Onmanorama, Priyadarshan said, "I will retire after these films. Now I'm starting to feel tired."'Haiwaan' is inspired by his 2016 Malayalam film 'Oppam'. However, several changes have been made to the dialogue and screenplay.
