Raj govt lifts ban on transfer of employees for 10 days
Jaipur, December 31,2024.Jaipur, December 31, 2024.State govt Monday lifted the freeze on transfer of employees across all departments from Jan 1 to Jan 10. The departments of school, higher, college, and technical education, however, have been kept outside the purview of the order.The move is expected to facilitate transfers of over 3 lakh employees in various govt departments. Highest number of transfers is expected in medical, energy, police, and PHED departments, sources said.However, the freeze on transfer of election department employees involved in summary revision of electoral rolls, effective from Oct 29 to Jan 6, next year, will remain effective until Jan 7, 2025, the govt order said.
