Rajasthan chief minister renames state’s river linking project as Ramjal Setu Link Project

Jaipur, January 22, 2025. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Wednesday renamed the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project in the state as Ramjal Setu Link Project. On December 17, water from Parvati, Kali Sindh and Chambal rivers was poured into the Ram Setu Jal Sankalp Kalash by Prime minister Narendra Modi. Sharma also released the poster of the Ramjal Setu Link Project at his residence on Wednesday.

No differences within Congress on grant of tickets for Rajasthan polls: Gehlot

New Delhi, October 19, 2023. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday said he wants to leave the state's top post but the post is not leaving him and probably may not leave him. He, however, also said that there would be something in him that the party high command had chosen him to lead the state thrice but any decision taken by the leadership going forward would be acceptable to all. Gehlot, whose government had faced a rebellion led by his bete noire Sachin Pilot in 2020, said he has adopted the policy of "forgive and forget" and moved on.
