Jaipur, June 10, 2025Severe heat wave conditions gripped Rajasthan for the fifth consecutive day Monday with Sriganganagar emerging hottest in the country for the day at 47.3 degree Celsius, nearly 5 degrees above normal.According to the India Meterological Department, apart from Sriganganagar, Rajasthan's Bikaner, Churu, Phalodi, Jaisalmer and Kota also saw mercury soar above 45 degree Celsius on Monday.The Met office said no respite is likely in coming days, as heat wave conditions are expected to aggravate further in the coming days.Jaipur recorded a minimum temperature of 31.8 degrees Celsius, almost 3.8 degrees above normal, and a maximum temperature of 43.8 degrees Celsius, almost 2.6 degrees above normal.
