RTDC Ajmer’s Hotel Khadim renamed ‘Ajaymeru’

The Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation's hotel Khadim in Ajmer has been renamed ‘Ajaymeru' by the tourism department, following instructions from state assembly speaker Vasudev Devnani, who is BJP MLA from Ajmer North.
A press statement issued by the district administration on Monday stated, following Devnani's directive, RTDC managing director Sushma Arora has formally issued the order for remaining the hotel.
The administration claimed the renaming decision aims to reflect Ajmer's rich cultural heritage and historical significance. Till late Monday night, RTDC website said, hotel Khadim was named after famous Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
